Welcome. I am Jill Jepson. I founded Writing the Whirlwind as a place
for writers to explore their art, their spirituality, and the complex
relationships between those two facets of their lives. I offer
workshops and individual coaching for writers and an opportunity for
writers to share their work, their ideas, and their experiences.
Writing the Whirlwind is founded on the belief that writing arises from
both the individual's personal truth as well as the universal creative
force--whether you call that force Spirit, the Universe, God, or the
All. Writing is a means to transform one's self and the world. It is
deeply tied to the natural world, which gives rise to all things.
Writers are heirs to the ancient tradition of storytelling. They are
witnesses to the human experience, guardians of memory, the voice of
the Earth.
