This is a place for anyone interested in writing, spirituality, creativity, and the place inside us where they all meet.

 

I have written all my life. I have always been fascinated with people's stories and the language they use to tell them. I wrote stories and poems from the age of three, and ultimately went on to a career as a lnguistic anthropologist, writer, editor, writing teacher, and professor.

 

I also went on a long spiritual search that took me to all parts of the globe to learn about sacred traditions and practices.

 

How surprised I was when I finally found that I'd been on my spiritual path all along. That path was writing.

 

Now I am sharing what I've discovered about writing and spirituality in my new book, Writing as a Sacred Path: A Practical Guide to Writing  With Passion and and Purpose, published by Ten Speed Press.
