Coaching is a process that enables you to develop as a writer in a relationship of trust and support. As your writing coach, I won't be criticizing, editing, or correcting your work. I will be working one-on-one with you to help you become the best writer you can possibly be. I will offer you ideas, suggestions, activities, experiences, and expert advice to help you identity your personal truth, develop your authentic voice, and tap into the sources of creativity within you.
My coaching is spiritual in the sense that it is linked to the individual writer's sense of purpose and desire to develop both as a person and as a writer. I draw upon the wisdom of spiritual traditions throughout the world as well as my years of experience as a writer, editor, and teacher. I work with clients from all relgious backgrounds, those who consider themselves spiritual but not religious in a traditional sence, those searching for a path, and those whose approach to their work is humanistic and artistic rather than spiritual.
Through coaching, you will develop a deep confidence and sureness about your writing. Your writing goals will become crystal clear, and you will develop a writing process that is perfectly suited to your personal needs and gifts. You will discover new sources of creativity and inspiration. You will learn how to prevent blocks and keep your writing flowing.
